## What is Kustomer?

Kustomer is a form of a CRM, or a customer relationship management system. The Kustomer workspace provides a clear view of each customer interaction in one place. 

DOB will use Kustomer to manage, track, and measure how DOB is handling customer relationships. This information empowers DOB to improve and streamline how we serve the citizens of the District of Columbia.

## Why are we moving from the Quickbase CRM to the Kustomer KRM?

The Quickbase CRM was never intended to be the final customer relationship management solution for DOB. The adoption of the Kustomer system is our direct response to our customers’ expressed needs. 

## Kustomer Adoption & Adaption: What you need to know.

The rollout of the Kustomer system began in September of 2019. As DOB divisions and teams adopt the Kustomer system OIS, OIS helpdesk and HR resources will be made available to help you achieve a successful transition.
